What does a general physician treat?

See a physician first for: fever > 48 hours, new headaches, persistent stomach pain, sudden fatigue, weight changes, anything you cannot explain. See a specialist directly only when you already have a diagnosed condition (e.g. you are a known diabetic and need diabetes management).

Yes — we have physician OPD 7 days a week. Sunday hours are slightly shorter (typically 9 AM–1 PM). Casualty / emergency is 24×7 every day including Sundays and holidays.

Do you treat dengue / typhoid / malaria here?

Yes — all three plus other tropical infections are managed routinely. We have in-house lab for rapid dengue NS1 / IgM, blood smears for malaria, and the Widal + cultures for typhoid. Same-day results for most tests.

What about norovirus? Is that a concern in Gulbarga?

Norovirus is a gastrointestinal virus causing vomiting + diarrhoea, spreading through food/water contamination. It is increasingly seen in India after community gatherings. Our physicians treat the dehydration and electrolyte imbalance — IV fluids in moderate-to-severe cases, oral rehydration in mild cases.
