Is the route safe / drivable through monsoons?

Yes — the Hospet → Gulbarga route stays open year-round. Stretches of NH-150A can flood briefly in heavy monsoon (July–Aug); the alternative via Bagalkot adds ~30 minutes but stays clear. Reception can suggest the cleaner route on the day if you call ahead.

Can I combine the visit with Hampi sightseeing?

Several patients do. Plan the consult / procedure for the start of the trip, recovery + tourism for after. We'll WhatsApp a discharge note + medication plan so a follow-up local doctor can take over without repeats.

Are lab reports valid for insurance back home?
