Laparoscopic ("keyhole") surgery is performed under general anaesthesia using a small camera and instruments inserted through 3–4 small incisions instead of one large open cut. Common applications at Asian Hospital, Gulbarga: gallbladder removal (cholecystectomy), appendectomy, hernia repair, diagnostic laparoscopy and selected gynaecology + urology cases. PREPARATION
