Laparoscopic Surgery

Minimally-invasive surgery via small keyhole incisions — faster recovery, less scarring, lower infection risk than open surgery.

COST RANGE

₹35,000 – ₹90,000

Range covers gallbladder, appendectomy, basic hernia. Complex cases quoted separately.

Laparoscopic ("keyhole") surgery is performed under general anaesthesia using a small camera and instruments inserted through 3–4 small incisions instead of one large open cut. Common applications at Asian Hospital, Gulbarga: gallbladder removal (cholecystectomy), appendectomy, hernia repair, diagnostic laparoscopy and selected gynaecology + urology cases. Patients typically discharge in 1–3 days vs. 5–7 for an equivalent open procedure. Cost depends on the underlying condition + insurance — call reception for a tailored quote.
