Terms of Service

Rules for using the asianhospitals.in website, AskHealthAI, appointment booking and grievance flows.
Effective 12 May 2026.

1. Acceptance

By using this website you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. The terms apply equally to web and any mobile-app surface backed by the same domain.

2. Who we are

Asian Hospital(“Asian Hospital”, “we”) runs the website. The hospital is licensed under the Karnataka Private Medical Establishments Act and operates a multi-specialty facility in Gulbarga (Kalaburagi).

3. AskHealthAI is NOT medical advice

AskHealthAI is a software assistant. It can answer general questions about our hospital — costs, doctor availability, procedure information, directions — and it can help you place an appointment request. It cannot diagnose you, prescribe medicines, adjust dosages, or replace a consultation with a registered medical practitioner.

If you have an urgent symptom, call our 24×7 ambulance on +91 96064 96370 or visit casualty in person. Asian Hospital is not liable for any harm caused by relying on AskHealthAI for a medical decision in place of consulting a doctor.

AskHealthAI uses Google's Gemini language model. Responses can occasionally contain inaccuracies. We review chat transcripts periodically to improve answers; see the Privacy Policy for how chat data is handled.

4. Appointment booking

Submitting the booking form or asking AskHealthAI to book sends a request to our reception. It is not a confirmed slot. Reception calls you back within 30 minutes during reception hours (8 AM – 9 PM IST) to agree a time. Outside those hours, the callback happens at 8 AM the next morning.

We may decline or reschedule a request when the doctor is unavailable, when the visit type doesn't match the doctor's specialty, or when the patient information is incomplete.

5. Verification by phone

We verify the phone number you submit before reception sees the request. Verification happens either through Truecaller's 1-tap flow (when you choose it) or through an SMS OTP. Using a number that is not yours is prohibited and may result in your request being declined.

6. Job applications + course enquiries

Submitting a job application through /careers/apply does not guarantee employment. HR reviews applications and contacts shortlisted candidates within 7 working days. Information you provide must be accurate and up-to-date; we reserve the right to verify all claims and terminate any offer found to be based on misrepresentation.

7. Grievances

We maintain a public grievance flow at /grievance with a 24-hour first-response SLA. Anonymous grievances are accepted for sensitive issues (billing dispute, harassment, PoSH). You may also escalate via Karnataka Medical Council if your complaint relates to medical conduct.

8. Use of the site

You agree NOT to:

  • attempt to access any non-public area of the site (admin, API endpoints) without authorisation;
  • scrape, copy, or republish content from the site without written permission (factual public information like doctor names and OPD hours may be cited with a link back);
  • submit false, abusive, or harassing content through any form;
  • attempt to overwhelm the site or AskHealthAI with automated traffic;
  • use the site to impersonate any person or to commit fraud.

We may rate-limit, block, or report behaviour that violates these rules.

9. Intellectual property

The text, layouts, photographs, illustrations and software on this site are the property of Asian Hospital unless attributed otherwise. You may share links to individual pages freely; reproduction beyond fair-use extracts requires written permission.

10. Third-party services

The site uses Google Firebase, Google Cloud, Google Gemini, Truecaller, and Google Maps Platform. Their terms apply to the parts of the service they provide; see our Privacy Policy section 4 for the full list.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Asian Hospital is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary or punitive damages arising out of your use of the site, including but not limited to losses from reliance on AskHealthAI in place of qualified medical advice. Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms is capped at ₹10,000.

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability we cannot limit under applicable law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence at the physical hospital.

12. Governing law + jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising under or in connection with them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Gulbarga (Kalaburagi), Karnataka.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. The effective date above reflects the latest change. If the change is material we will notify you on the site. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
